NORTH VALLEY Symphonettes

North Valley Symphonettes (NVS) is comprised of youth, typically middle-school, but also younger and older players who have at least one year of experience on their instrument, and have finished Suzuki Book 1 (or a similar methods book).

Symphonettes provides an opportunity for young musicians to participate in an orchestra, very often for the first time in their musical career.

If you have a passion to perform great music, can meet weekly for rehearsals, and are willing to commit to the necessary practice, we want you in North Valley Symphonettes.

There are no limits.  Our programs allow talented and dedicated students to progress from North Valley Symphonettes, to North Valley Youth Strings and then to North Valley Youth Orchestra.  Some students ultimately audition for the NVSO Adult Orchestra.

There are no audition requirements for North Valley Symphonettes. Simply email caitlinc@northvalleysymphony.org or fill out the Contact Us page and we will send you more specific information.

Our Symphonettes perform at least two concerts during the semester. The director of Symphonettes is Caitlin Corbett, an NAU graduate who teaches in the Gilbert School District and is a member of the NVSO Adult Orchestra.
